Annabel Faustin was born in the South of France in Toulon, in 1989.

When she was 4, her father who was a fireman and a painter, died in a plane crash. This accident has influenced her life and her will to become a painter like her father to realize the dream he couldn’t achieve anymore.

In 2007, she moved to Paris where she obtained a diploma in Art direction at L’École Estienne in 2013 and a master degree in Design and Luxury in 2014.

From 2014 to 2019, she worked for many luxury brands as a designer where she enjoyed work, but experimented with lack of time and overproduction.

Inspired by her current fast life, she began to paint portraits of peaceful sleeping characters, a way to express her own tireness. From one painting to another, she entered in a visual dream where she created a common visual language : clouds passing by, phones reflecting quiet skies, windows opened on Provence landscapes where she grew up, and always huge round characters, with comforting gestures and expressions. Inspired by her deep dreams and souvenirs, her aim is to create positive and soft pictures to answer the anxiety of our modern society.

Since 2019, Annabel lives and works in Paris. Her paintings appear several times in French media Konbini, Inside closet,  English magazine Widewalls and more recently Harper’s Bazaar.

She exhibited her paintings in two Solo Show and one group Group Show for online galeries such as Artistellar and Four You Gallery.

Her paintings are in private collections in France, United States, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, and in many other countries all around the world.
